After the San Francisco 49ers beat the Detroit Lions in the NFC Championship, Anna Frey, a 16-year-old tennis player from Utah, who people say looks like 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy, shared a video saying, "waiting for my Super Bowl invite."
Guess what? She got it.
Frey got invited to go to Super Bowl 2024 in Las Vegas by Six Star Pro Nutrition, a workout supplement company, as part of a Name, Image, and Likeness deal.
Frey has a lot of followers on TikTok, around 1.3 million, and this deal with Six Star and her Super Bowl trip will only make her more popular.
"I'll be posting a lot about the fun stuff I'm doing. If you spot me on the strip, come say hi," Frey said on TikTok. She's really excited about it.
Even Brock Purdy's brother Chubba, who plays quarterback at the University of Nevada, noticed how much Frey looks like Brock. After the NFC Championship, Chubba made a video saying, "Anna Frey's going to the Super Bowl!" while Brock posed.
But there's been some talk on social media this week comparing Brock Purdy to Lee Harvey Oswald, the guy who killed President John F. Kennedy. When a reporter asked Brock about Oswald, he didn't really want to talk about it.
At the Super Bowl, Frey might have to share the spotlight with Taylor Swift, who's coming to support her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
Six Star also shared a video with Frey announcing the deal and the Super Bowl trip.
"Talking about sports nutrition has been a big deal with my parents and coaches as I keep playing sports. That's why this deal with Six Star is so cool — besides going to the big game, of course," Frey said in a statement about the deal. "And knowing that Six Star has supported athletes and their rights before makes me feel good about it. They think people like me should be able to make money from opportunities like this."
Super Bowl 58 is happening at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas at 6:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
